Disappointed niece March 11, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my nine year old niece. She was so excited to get it, but it malfunctioned after two weeks! Most of the activities require online interaction. I'm greatly disappointed and so was my broken hearted niece.
Kids Love but Some Problems January 31, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 8 year old granddaughter got the Pixel Chix house and car for Christmas and loved them. Bought both malls and had problems with them shutting off or getting lines across. Sent them back and got great service for an exchange with Amazon. Of the two new malls one of the new ones (this one)also has the same problem. The second one works great and my granddaughter plays with them all the time. Decided to get the two story house and she loves that one also. She connects them and the girls move from house to mall or car. These are great fun and she wants more, I just wish we didn't have as much trouble with some of them that we have had.
Kids like it! January 27, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased it when Amazon had a holiday sale for $10. For that price, it was a great, great buy. DD (6 years old) likes it, plays with it often and even her 2 year old sister plays with it from time to time. What's not so great, is that she also has the other Mall (Pet shop/Salon) which we got for $35. And both houses as well as the car were all full price. Of course my husband and I only have ourselves to blame. The fact that you can connect all these and "party" is a great marketing technique, which seemingly has no end...when you do the math it is truly shocking!
Pixel Chix product review January 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My Granddaughter is 9 yrs old--She had the first "Home" Pixel Chix. She played with it so much and took it everywhere, I decided to get her another one for Christmas. We had trouble with the screen going blank or half of the scene would get lines through it. We changed the batteries, thinking they were losing charge. But it still did the same thing. Then I noticed there is a reset hole near the battery door. I tried it and it worked. So now when it goes haywire we just push the reset and it works really well. I think the reset button should be put into the instructions. This is a great product, looking forward for more pieces to follow. I am going to get her the car for her birthday in May.
Terrible execution - great idea January 19, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Tried 3 replacements of this toy. All three had issues ranging from some of the buttons not working to having the body separate from the head in the screen. Don't waste your money.
