Great! Very Good Toy for all ages. We really Enjoy the cute little puppies and they interact with you. I disagree with the person above though. The toy is portable. I bring it to my Grandma's house all the time and it never breaks! The only thing wrong with the toy is that it is not as big as i expected.
The Clumbsiest Little Pet Shop November 9, 2004 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
While this toy oozes cuteness and will probably entertain a four-year-old (the pet shop and some of the pets interact magnetically, and their "tricks" are really adorable), there are so many flaws in the basic design that I felt were worth mentioning. One of the highlights listed on the box reads, "folds for on-the-go fun!" This is inaccurate; the pet shop folds, but there is no latch to hold it closed and it swings back open with the slightest movement. When closed, the hamster tube is at the top, and any child would assume it doubles as a handle, but it comes apart far too easily. The door and shelf/table also fall off with very little pressure. There are a number of openings, such as a swinging puppy door, a window, two open rest places in the hamster tube (both on the outside of the pet shop when it is "folded") and ZERO closable inner storage spaces, all of which make it impossible to consider this a portable toy, unless you're willing to keep the pets and all of their little accessories in a separate baggie. Ultimately this will become just another disposable toy. I think the manufacturer should have spent more time reviewing the design of the old Littlest Pet Shop- it was a simple design but it locked up as tight as a drum, which is why so many of them (with their pets) are still around today.
